DETAILED EXPERIENCE GUIDE
Cook five chosen dishes and learn respectful canang offering-making as a cultural craft activity.
The day combines private cooking with a respectful canang-making learning activity. The cultural component is taught as a practical craft-and-context session, separate from any claim of performing a religious ceremony.
This experience keeps the standard Wayan’s Paon menu freedom: choose up to five confirmed dishes. Slow-cooked, specialty or advance-request items can be selected first and are confirmed in the WhatsApp reply.
Best for travelers who want food plus a gentle introduction to a visible part of everyday Balinese cultural life.
The cooking menu remains flexible: choose up to five confirmed dishes rather than accepting a fixed cultural-tour menu.
The listed timing is morning / afternoon. Ubud pickup and return are free. Outside Ubud is also free for bookings of 5+ guests; groups of 1–4 outside Ubud receive a location-based transport quote before confirmation.
The meal is part of the experience. Send the package, date, guest count, pickup area, dietary needs and any dish selections in one request; final availability and special preparation are confirmed in WhatsApp before the booking is treated as final.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Use these details to compare the experience by format, food and logistics—not only by its name.
The cooking side still uses the normal private menu system: choose up to five confirmed dishes and cook them with your group.
The canang section is presented as hands-on cultural learning. It is not advertised as performing a religious ceremony, and the experience does not promise spiritual outcomes.
This format works well for travelers who want a food experience plus context around a visible part of everyday Balinese life without turning the day into a long sightseeing itinerary.
Tell us dietary requirements and whether the group has children so the cooking pace and the craft-learning section can be planned together.
